Appalachian Rekindling Project (KY/VA)
The Appalachian Rekindling Project is an initiative to create, build, and fund a collective and intertribal Indigenous center in Appalachia where Native people can return and gather. This project aims to rekindle relationships with homelands, one another, and traditional practices/arts.
Gladwin Crossing
Friends of the Cheat (West Virginia)

This project will open 132 miles of perennial stream habitat in a region that is a recreational haven for hikers, campers, and boaters, and will reduce flooding vulnerability for downstream communities.
Training/Capacity Building
Partnership for Southern Equity
With the Partnership for Southern Equity, we will develop strategies and principles to guide conservation organizations in integrating equity, including racial and intergenerational equity, into their work. A report, Getting Equity Right in Appalachian Conservation, will be a critical resource for the conservation community.
