Highlands of Roan: Round Mountain

SAHC will add this high-elevation mountaintop to the protected lands based in the vicinity of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. The project lies in the globally significant Roan Highlands Landscape and protects rare, threatened, and endangered species, saving an iconic peak from second-home development.
